CSCT / US Dept. of Energy showcase symposium: Developing sustainable technologies in the bioeconomy and energy sectors

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2-day CSCT / US Dept. of Energy showcase symposiumDeveloping sustainable technologies in the bioeconomy and energy sectors, which will be held on 8 – 9 May 2019 at the Chancellors’ Building CB1.12, University of Bath.

With a range of great speakers covering the latest energy research at the University of Bath’s CSCT, the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as well as the CSCT industry partners, the symposium sessions will be organised according to:

  • Technology to enable the bioeconomy: biorefineries and biopolymers
  • Materials for energy production including catalysis, energy storage, batteries and solar
  • Multiscale modelling, from reactions to supply chains

PhD students in similar fields are invited to submit a poster for the session on 8 May. There is a chance to win a £75 for best poster, as well as runner up prizes.
