Lizzy graduated from the University of Sheffield with an MChem. Her thesis explored photochemistry and photophysics of novel platinum compounds for use in artificial photosynthesis. Since graduating Lizzy has travelled to Nicaragua to volunteer with sustainable development NGOs. Upon returning to the UK she raised awareness of the importance of young people in sustainable development, attending the UK Aid Youth Summit at Department for International Development.
