Marc Pflieger

Marc graduated with a BSc and an MSc degree in Biochemisty from the Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany. During his Bachelor’s research project he focused on neuropharmacology. In the first year of his masters he did an Erasmus exchange year at Cardiff University where he studied Enzyme Mechanisms. After returning to Germany to finish his Masters, he focused his research on the derivatization of natural products, particularly Polyketides and peptide conjugates. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, jogging, travelling and baking.
