3D-Printed Ceramic Ink Removing ‘Forever Chemicals’ From Water

CDT alumna Dr Liana Zoumpouli, co-authored the paper ‘3D-printed indium oxide monoliths for PFAS removal’, published in The Chemical Engineering Journal.

With funding from the EPSRC, her team of researchers have developed a 3D-printed ceramic monolith that removes 75% of harmful PFAS chemicals from water. This innovative, energy-efficient method offers a scalable solution to help address the global challenge of eliminating ‘forever chemicals’ from water supplies.
