Bhagya did her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry specialised in Pharmacy from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she undertook research on nono encapsulation for drug development. She then went on to do a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in the University of South Wales. where she researched dose escalation in clinical trials. Bhagya has 4 years of experience as a research and development scientist in a pharmaceutical company in Sri Lanka.
