Haniyeh received her Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from Azad University in 2017 and her Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology in 2022. During her master’s studies, she focused on life cycle assessment (LCA) in waste management systems, which sparked her interest in applying LCA methodology to various systems. She is currently pursuing her PhD, concentrating on optimizing the environmental impacts of the global mobility and relocation industry.

Outside of academia, Haniyeh enjoys reading fantasy novels, going on long walks, and gaming.
