Jess graduated from the University of York in 2019 with an MChem degree. During her final year project, she worked on the synthesis of medium-sized rings from linear precursors via a Nitrogen Induced Cyclisation/ Expansion (NICE) method under Dr Will Unsworth. In her spare time, Jess enjoys playing hockey, dancing, reading and going on hikes.
