Joris is on a mission toward an environmentally sustainable, socially just, and economically thriving society. As a life cycle assessment (LCA) practitioner, Joris helps organizations with strategies to reduce their environmental impacts. For his PhD, he seeks to advance LCA methods to explore the future environmental impacts of materials to help guide decisions today. Beyond work, Joris advocates for physical and mental well-being, competing as an iron man triathlete while leading a plant-based lifestyle. His morning ritual is simple… fresh ground coffee beans!
