In my PhD project, I study the self-assembly behaviour of bio-sourced surfactants in the presence of small molecule fragrances, using characterisation techniques such as small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), diffusion-ordered spectroscopy (DOSY), surface tension and rheological studies, which will ultimately help in the formulation of more sustainable home and personal care products.
