Katie Morton

Katie graduated from the University of Bath in 2020 with a BSc in Natural Sciences majoring in Chemistry. The third year of her degree was spent on placement at Imerys, in Cornwall. She aided the development of cardboard additives that imparted properties such as hydrophobicity whilst minimising the loss of strength. In her final year, she worked with Dr Adam Squires to investigate the kinetics of lysozyme fibrilisation using small angle X-ray scattering. Besides her love of all things science, she enjoys reading, running and relaxing, plus a little kickboxing on the side.
