PhD Project Title: Solution and Interfacial Properties of Biosourced Anionic Surfactants

Laura graduated from Cardiff University in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Chemistry. During her final year project with Dr Paul Newman, she designed and synthesised heterobimetallic complexes for their potential use as theragnostic agents. She also completed an eight-week CUROP placement with Dr Tim Easun, in which she explored the modification of porous organic cages through the addition of carbonyl complexes.
Outside of chemistry, she enjoys reading, baking (semi edible) things and dancing.
