Philip graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2019 with an MSc in Chemistry with a Year in Industry. His interests in sustainable research stem largely from his placement year, a time during which he worked on sustainable polymers for use in powder coatings. Philip later worked with Professor Christopher Hayes in his master’s project on cyanoacrylamides for use as covalent kinase inhibitors in fragment-based drug discovery. Besides sustainability, Philip is interested in running, working with (and building) computers and videogames.
