MRes Project 2: Light-mediated depolymerisation of thermoset materials

I graduated from the University of Sussex in 2025 with an MChem degree in Chemistry. My master’s project in the Hassell-Hart group explored the synthesis of medicinally relevant thiolated thiazoles using an intermolecular Pummerer Rearrangement. As part of my degree, I also undertook research placements in the Crossley and Sneddon groups.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, the occasional run, and board games.
