Will obtained his BSc in Applied Chemistry from University of Leeds in 2008 and MSc in Green Chemistry and Sustainable Industrial Technology from University of York in 2009. He has a significant amount of research experience in organic synthesis, working with Dr Mark Heron on photochromic liquid crystals and novel photochromic dyes and with Professor. James Clark and Dr Simon Breeden on clean synthesis of pharmaceuticals, which included an industrial collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline. His research interests are centred around sustainable synthesis and use of renewable feedstock chemicals.
