Niamh graduated from the University of Bath in 2019 with a Masters degree in Chemistry. The third year of her degree was spent on placement at Imerys, in Cornwall, where she worked on improving the opacity of paints without the use of titanium dioxide. In her fourth year, she undertook a research project with Professor Karen Edler investigating the synthesis of nanoparticles in Deep Eutectic Solvents. Niamh is a member of the University Chamber Choir and enjoys reading, knitting and cycling.
