Sustainable Technologies Business Acceleration Hub series of unmissable sustainable economy events

The Sustainable Technologies Business Acceleration Hub (STBAH) which provides free bespoke business support and coaching to businesses operating in low carbon innovation are hosting a linked series of events exploring approaches to creating a sustainable economy.

These events aim to stimulate a regional conversation about how we can achieve the 3 principles of a sustainable economy bringing the voices of academics, funders, innovators, SMEs and corporates to the debate.

The dates and topics for the events are confirmed as follows:

Wednesday 3rd April 2019, #1 Designing out Waste & Pollution

Thursday 27th June 2019, #2 Keep Products and Materials in Use

Wednesday 18th September 2019, #3 Regenerate Natural Systems

All events will take place at Engine Shed in Bristol from 8am until 10.30am, the event format will include keynote talks, followed by flash presentations from SMEs relating to the topic and then a panel discussion, rounded off with the opportunity to network.

Talking about the series event, Pete Keevill, Entrepreneur in Residence for the STBAH, says,

“The Circular Economy is a framework for an economy that is restorative and regenerative by design. Many organisations are recognising that they need to adopt the transition towards a circular economy. If you are an SME or start-up interested in any of the event topics then these events are for you.  You may have a product or service in one of these areas or may simply be curious about how you get your business ‘in shape’ to contribute to a sustainable economy. Join us at one or all three of these very topical free events, which promise to be informative and engaging.”

Registration for each of these free events are now open and those interested in the events are invited to sign up for the series of events via the eventbrite links below. Full detail of the agenda and line up of key, expert speakers are also available on each of the eventbrite pages.
